Since May 25, 2018, a new regulation is directly applicable throughout the European Union to all organisations (administrations, institutions, companies, associations, etc.) possessing and using personal data concerning natural and legal persons.
This data protection law gives everyone concerned rights to control the use that is made of your data by the Church of God Luxembourg A.S.B.L. (hereinafter know as ‘the church’). It also sets obligations on how our church uses this data, limits its use and controls its transmission to third parties.
The registration of your personal data in any of our systems results from a relationship that we have with you.
The confidentiality of the information we use prevents us from disclosing any data containing information about a natural person or legal person to third parties. However, the transmission of such data to third parties may be justified by a number of circumstances, for example:
The transmission of your personal data as part of our legitimate pastoral ministry, training and training qualification/certification processes.
In no case will your data be transmitted to third persons without there being a legitimate reason.
Finally, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data collected and held by the church. You also have the right to restrict and/or object to the processing of your data and the right to transfer your data to you or to another organisation.
